Enroll a Child

When people think of mentoring programs, they think of Big Brothers Big Sisters. As an established youth mentoring organization, we strive to develop programs that work. Our experienced approach to recruiting, screening, matching and supporting has resulted in hundreds of lasting friendships, and has helped change the lives of young people in our community.

To qualify for our program a child must:

• Be 6 through 18 years of age

• Have a need for an adult friend to offer guidance and support

• Be available to meet with a Big Brother or Sister 2-4 times per month for at least 1 year.

• Want to have a Big Brother or Big Sister - our program is voluntary, so everyone's support is needed.

Program Information

Our program is offered free of charge, however for events that your child participates in with his or her Big, we ask that you pay your child's way whenever possible

Waiting Period

Due to the large number of Boys referred to our program, there is typically a waiting list for boys. While we hope the time they wait is short, it can be a year or more.
